I began my career in Seattle working on SLAPP lawsuits, and
was immediately committed to each client who was facing

intimidation simply because they had a belief that a corpo-
ration found to be against their financial interest. I went on to

work as a Public Defender, a Litigator in a large city law firm, an
Associate Professor at UConn’s Center for Disabilities, a Partner
managing corporate litigation matters, and a few other career

adventures gathering valuable life experience and legal exper-
tise. My greatest honor was when I fought against the State of

Connecticut at the Supreme Court and won orphans access
to court assistance when they need it most.
